StorageTek Pan European Motivational Sales Conference, 2005
Brief: We want to motivate, inspire and reward our sales and marketing teams. We want to train them to succeed. We want to restore our pride, our confidence, our passion.
Solution: Developed event strategy, key message, agenda and experience for 600 delegates - internal promotion, speaker presentations, motivational activities, dinners and entertainment, video content, product displays and training workshops. Full logistical management, including venue sourcing and negotiation. Served 8,500 meals! Delivered by a team of 30 people, plus an extended team of suppliers. Venue: Grimaldi Forum, Monaco.
Change management: The initial brief was to create a 'meeting' with more of a business and educational focus. Six weeks into the project, we picked up on a comment from the CEO that it should be more of a motivational event and include an element of reward. This completely changed our focus. We proposed changing the original format, agenda and location (Athens). The client agreed.
Results: 95% of delegates said they found the experience "exciting," 82% said the communication was "clear", 77% confirmed the event "supported my objectives."
